なんで の話かと言えば、現在的にTumblrはどういう使い方をするのが「正解」なのかな、と悩んでいるから。
(当時)の頃は長文投稿サービス然とした使い方をしていたけど、 になってからはプランによっては投稿が140字でなくなったし、そもそも や なら、大体のポストは文字数を気にする必要がない程度には長文投稿が可能になって、そういう使い道では出番がなくなったよね。

Tumblrの 対応、ひと頃は期待もしていたけれど、今更ながらだけど必要ない気がするのよね。
今更リソース費やして再構築しなくても「Tumblr」って名前で サーバ立てて、ソレっぽくカスタマイズすればいいだけの話だし、でもそうしてしまうとソレはTumblrでは無いよね。

の様なActivityPubに流し込むだけの対応なら、同じ 社の がプラグインで実現しているし、とうのThreadsがその対応自体を消極的評価でとりやめてしまうし。
