ブラウザ、いろいろ試してみているが少なくとも手持ちのSurface Pro 8での動作安定性はEdgeが一番いい気がする。他のChromium系ブラウザに比べて変なメモリの食い方をしないというか。
Google一強を止めるためにChromeやGoogle Playの標準搭載が有利になる契約をやめさせようというのはよいのだが…
例えばAndroid端末でeKYCが必要なときに、Edgeブラウザですら蹴られてChromeを起動しなければならないというシーンがある。
これが何故かというのを考えたときに、 標準（例えばChrome）以外のブラウザをエンドユーザーが使った結果何か起きた場合の責任をサービス側が負わなければならない という枠組みの場合、利用できるブラウザをある程度限定しないと事業者側が世の中に存在するブラウザの数だけテスト工数を用意しなければならないということになってしまう。
「どのブラウザもWeb標準に従ってるんだからシェアの低いブラウザのサポートを切るのは間違い」とか「特定のブラウザをブロックしないで」とかいう声が聞かれることはあるのだが、そういうブラウザを使った結果ユーザーにとっての利便性が悪くなるだけなら自己責任で済まされるけど、サービス側にとって間違いが許されないというケースは考慮すべきだなと思った。
